Cambridge MA Toastmasters Club at MIT - open to the public, public speaking training
Practice Makes Better!
Chatter By The Charles (CBTC) is now in its summer months of
2010 and enjoys continuing to meet weekly and hold productive meetings. In the
past few months, we have brought on new members, improved our website and
sometimes try creative yet effective speech evaluations. We fully enjoy practicing our public speaking
and know that truly the only way to get better at it is to simply
practice.Practice makes Better and by
simply showing up to our meetings, practicing a bit and then of course
receiving feedback from other members as requested, then our Public Speaking
skills improve.
Clear effective communication is a key to personal, business
and or other areas of success and we firmly believe that in a setting such as our
Toastmasters Club and the consistent weekly meetings - that we provide the support, camaraderie, feedback and flexible environment
to make this happen.
We are completely open to the public and enjoy meeting new
people of all backgrounds interested in improving their public speaking.
We look forward to hearing and seeing you at any of our
weekly meetings!
Sincerely,
Paul J. Scott President - Chatter By The Charles - 2010/2011
